Why PROOF
Your quarter turns on decisions nobody can reconstruct.
Companies decide what will close, where to act and which deals to prioritise using information that is fragmented, stale and difficult to verify. PROOF exists so those decisions can be understood, defended and improved.
The CRM records what was entered. Conversation tools record what was said.
Forecasting tools collect opinions and turn them into a score. Each system holds its own thing well, and revenue teams now run all three. Not one of them records why anyone believed the number.
None of them holds what the decision rested on at the moment it was made.
The questions a quarter turns on
Six questions none of them answers.
These are not reporting questions. They are the questions asked in a deal review, a QBR and a board meeting, and today they are answered from a field and a memory.
- 01
What was actually known when the decision was made?
- 02
What evidence supported the forecast?
- 03
Where did the CRM, the Seller and the customer disagree?
- 04
Who made the decision, and why?
- 05
What changed afterwards?
- 06
Did what we changed actually work?
What PROOF records
PROOF was built to answer those questions.
One chain, one record. Customer evidence becomes a Seller position, a Manager decision, a published forecast and an action, and what actually happened comes back to every step above it.
- 01Customer evidenceWhat the buyer said, sent and confirmed
- 02Seller positionWhat they forecast, and what it rests on
- 03Manager decisionAgreed, challenged or overridden, with the reason
- 04Leadership forecastThe number that goes to the board
- 05Action and follow-throughWho does what, and whether it happened
- 06Commercial outcomeWon, lost, slipped, and why
Learning returns to every step above it. That is the only way any of them improves.
What that takes
Most sales technology stores current state.
PROOF preserves the decision timeline. That is the difference, and everything else on this site is a consequence of it.
- The current CRM value
- The latest forecast category
- The latest score
- The current deal summary
Each one true today, and silent about yesterday.
- What evidence existed
- When it became available
- What the Seller forecast
- What the Manager changed
- What was published
- What arrived later
- What eventually happened
Which is what makes an earlier decision judgeable on its own terms.
What it prevents
It preserves what was known at the time.
Which avoids the most damaging behaviour in revenue systems: using later information to pretend an earlier decision was better informed than it actually was. A forecast is judged on what supported it when it was given, not on what arrived the following week.
Why now
AI has made answers abundant.
The scarce thing is knowing which answers can be trusted, and who is accountable for acting on them.
More intelligence, less shared truth
CRM records are incomplete or stale. Meetings sit in one tool, email in another, forecasts in a spreadsheet and a manager's judgement. AI then builds conclusions over disconnected information.
Summaries are now a commodity
Every platform can summarise a meeting, draft an email or generate a risk score. What most still cannot answer is whether a statement was customer-confirmed or Seller-asserted, and whether the evidence existed when the forecast was submitted.
Leadership has to defend the number, not display it
What is the number, why is it the number, what changed since last week, where is the exposure, and did the last change of course work. A summary screen shows the current number. PROOF reconstructs the evidence and the decisions underneath it.
One foundation
Four solutions, not four engines.
Method defines how the organisation sells. Decision Integrity establishes whether commercial claims are supported. Process Intelligence shows where the process breaks and which patterns recur. Forecasting reconciles Seller, Manager and leadership positions into a number the team can defend. They use the same evidence, the same history and the same decision architecture.
See the record all four run on Or start from whichever problem is yours
That is the argument.
The rest of it is what making it real takes, starting with one record and everything that feeds it.
